Olimpia Milano is making a strong push to secure combo Jerian Grant, as Eurohoops sources confirm. However, at this point, Virtus Bologna and CSKA Moscow are still in the mix and nothing is concrete yet.
The interest of Italian champions Virtus Bologna which will compete next season in the EuroCup and not in the EuroLeague is also strong and CSKA has also inquired about Grant’s services without making any other move yet.
Grant, 28, spent the previous season with Promitheas Patras, his first one in Europe after his NBA and G-League run.
Grant quickly transitioned to European basketball with the Greek side, alongside his brother Jerai, and as he told Eurohoops last week, he wants to stay in the Old Continent and help a team win.
Across 27 games in the Greek Basket League this past season, Grant posted an average of 14.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists across 34:27 on the court, providing solutions for Promitheas.
